1/19/15 THIS young PRIEST at Crystal Christ Cathedral (I think his name is Ben) always starts every mass by saying "God is good..." and expects the congregation to respond "All the time"...and then he repeats "All the time"...and the congregation is supposed to say "God is good"...; sometimes its a bit too cheery, especially at 630am; and especially when it is every single time. It is a true statement, yes, God is good ALL the time, ...however it can make people feel as if complaining about anything, or trying to solve anything such as a social issue, is a sin because we should be perpetually focused on how good God is...and just be like cheerleaders 24/7 ...; Ben's a good guy..nice young man..still learning & growing (I hope) .don't get me wrong..but he can come off a bit cocky sometimes..almost as if he's taunting us; one time he returned from a trip and announced that he just returned and said to us "I missed you all..." and then he said "Did you miss me?" and then added, "A little bit?" ...once again being subtly condescending towards us; so I pray for Ben to respect the congregation..we are there at 630am...that means something...so why are you talking at us as if we need to be more fired up about faith? Stop talking "down" to us, young man!
